Machin Scotland XS42 JET 5p Cylinder 7
Printed by Harrison & Sons from chemically etched cylinders on Fluorescent Coated Paper (FCP) with PVA gum.
Reddish Violet, issued June 1973.
Two 9.5 mm phosphor bands.
Cylinder block of eight. Cylinder number 7 No Dot, Phosphor 11 (can only see one ‘1’).
Specialised Vol 4 Part 2 catalogue number XS42. The Concise number for the single stamp is unknown.
All cylinder 7 phosphor 11 printings exist with contaminated “yellow phosphor”, also known as “JET phosphor”.
