Machin U375 Single 38p SHORT BAND

Issued  15th February 2000.

Printed in photogravure by Walsall on the Chestnut Press.

Ultramarine, non-fluorescent coated paper with two bands (long wave).

Not only was this stamp Perforation 14 but the size of the actual printed stamp was 17mm horizontally instead of 17.5mm – hence its name “Small Format”.

Only found in the “Special by Design Prestige Booklet” DX24.

Concise catalogue stamp number Y1707a from pane number Y1683l.
