Machin UJD03 2-3 D1 Cylinder 1st 2009.

The colour of these stamps is is Gold.

Printed by De La Rue in Photogravure  on Non-fluorescent Coated Paper (NFCP). Self-adhesive gum (SA) gum and die-cut perforations 14½ x 14 (E). There is also one elliptical perforation on each vertical edge.

Sheet sizes have been reduced to 25 stamps in a 5 x 5 format.

The sheet is rouletted between each row and column with excess backing paper removed.

The printed stamp also has U-shaped slits and an iridescent overprint .

As the issue grew, source and date codes were added within the iridescent overprint.

There is no Source Code on this issue (counter sheets), and no Date Code.

Issued 17th February 2009 with Cylinder D1 D1  phosphor D1  (within block of six). Position: row 2, column 3.

The Stanley Gibbons Great Britain Queen Elizabeth II Specialised Catalogue Volume 4 Part 2 catalogue number is UJD03.

Also the Stanley Gibbons Concise catalogue (2015) number is U2942.

Unmounted mint and in pristine condition.
