Issued 25th January 1979. There are four different stamps in this issue.

This issue features Britain’s development of its oil, coal, natural gas, and also electricity resources.

Perforation 15 x 14.

“All Over” Phosphor.

The four different stamps depicted are:

a)  9p        – North Sea Oil Production Platform

b) 10½p   – Coal showing a modern Pit Head.

c)  11p       – Natural Gas with a flame rising from the North Sea.

d) 13p       – Electricity with a Nuclear Power Station and also a Uranium Atom

Gibbons Specialised GB QEII Catalogue Volume 5 numbers W378 to W381 refer.

The Concise (2019) catalogue numbers are 1050 to 1053 (four stamps in total).

We will try to mention any other numbering that we may use if not covered by the above. Sometimes particular stamps, booklets, or cylinder blocks are not recognized anywhere. Hence, in this case, we would use our own expertise to describe and value that  item.

In conclusion, all of our stamps are unmounted mint and in an excellent condition. We will mention any variation to this statement.
