Christmas 2007 1st 2-3 Cylinder D1 x 5 Block

The two stamps depicting  paintings of the Madonna and Child were the first Christmas issue of 2007.  Also these stamps were designed by Peter Willberg.  These two stamps were also issued in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. It seems like these were for customers who wished to use Christmas stamps with a religious theme. It is especially relevant the same cylinders were used. Therefore the only way of determining  the different issues is via the Date Block, that gives the actual date of printing.

All denominations of this issue were printed in a sheet of 50 (two panes of 25 divided with a horizontal gutter). The surplus backing paper was removed before issue.

We will try to mention any other numbering that we may use if not covered by the above. Sometimes particular stamps, Smilers sheets, booklets, miniature sheets, or cylinder blocks are not recognized anywhere. Hence, in this case, we would use our own expertise to describe and value that  item.

In conclusion, all of our stamps are unmounted mint and in an excellent condition. We will mention any variation to this statement.
