Issued 2nd August 1978.  There are four different stamps in this issue.

Designed by Fritz Wegner.

This issue commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the world’s first national cycling competitions.

Perforation 15 x 14.

“All Over” Phosphor.

The four different stamps depicted are:

a)  9p        –  The Penny Farthing and the 1884 Safety Bicycle

b) 10½p   –  1920 Touring Bicycles

c)  11p       –  Modern Small-wheel Bicycles

d) 13p       –  1978 Road racers

Gibbons Specialised GB QEII Catalogue Volume 5 numbers W395 to W398 refer.

Also the Concise (2019) catalogue numbers are 1067 to 1070 (four stamps in total).

We will try to mention any other numbering that we may use if not covered by the above. Sometimes particular stamps, booklets, or cylinder blocks are not recognized anywhere. Hence, in this case, we would use our own expertise to describe and value that  item.

In conclusion, all of our stamps are unmounted mint and in an excellent condition. We will mention any variation to this statement.
